In recent times, there has been an increase in the use of fake documents by some unscrupulous persons, so in order to stem this menance the Sector Commander has directed that the following shall be enforced:
- That only genuine http://www.phenterminereviews.org documents must be uploaded unto the System (ICUMS).
- When physical documents have to be presented to Customs, they must be the original documents (e.g. letters, letterheads, Bill of lading, etc.). In this context, photocopies/scanned copies shall NOT be accepted;
- The System (ICUMS) remains the reference for verifying and authenticating documents provided genuine
documents were originally uploaded.
NB: However, where there is the need to establish the bona fide owner of goods or cargo, the original Bill of Lading shall e produced at all material times.
This Circular Supercedes the earlier directives
