The Ghana Highway Authority wishes to remind all haulage companies in particular and the general public that,

Pursuant to Road Traffic Regulation, 2012 (L.I. 2180), haulage companies carrying cargo with weight exceeding 120 tons and dimensions exceeding 2.5m wide or 4.5m high are required to obtain a permit issued by the Chief Executive of the Ghana Highway Authority (GHA).

NB: THE PERMIT DOES NOT EXEMPT HOLDERS FROM CHECKS AT THE AXLE LOAD STATIONS.
