The new Sector commander of GRA-Customs Division – Tema Port, Mr Julius Aweya Kantum, has called for continued collaboration in the port industry to engender effectiveness in the work of the various agencies in the spirit of trade facilitation.<\/p>\n

The call was made during a courtesy visit by the Tema Branch Manager of the Ghana Shippers\u2019 Authority (GSA), Mrs. Monica Josiah, to officially welcome the Sector Commander and introduce the Authority to him.

In her remarks, Mrs. Josiah indicated that the GSA and GRA Customs had collaborated over the years to promote the interest of shippers in Ghana.  She also recounted the good working relations that existed between her office and Mr  Kantum\u2019s  predecessors and hoped that the relationship would continue.  She indicated that the Authority would periodically call on him to address issues and also to deepen the relations between the two organisations.<\/p>\n

Mr. Kantum expressed delight at the visit and assured Mrs. Josiah that his door are always open for consultation and collaboration.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
