<\/p>\nThe Ghana Shippers\u2019 Authority (GSA) has assured shippers operating in the Eastern Region of its commitment to addressing their shipment challenges at the ports.<\/p>\n
The companies, which are mostly exporters, include Blue Skies, Okyere Farms, Chocho Industries, Bomarts and Dhillon Farms.<\/p>\n

From left : Mrs Monica Josiah, Tema Branch Manager of GSA & Ms Sandra Poakwa, an Assistant Shipper Services Officer in a discussion with the Procurement and Logistics Officer of Bomarts Farms Ltd (exporters of dried fruits), Mr Edward Kofi Botchway<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n The assurance was given by the Tema Branch Manager of the GSA, Mrs Monica Josiah on 12th February, 2020 when she led a team to visit the companies.<\/p>\n She appealed to the shippers not to hesitate to report their shipment challenges to the GSA for resolution.<\/p>\n Mrs Josiah reiterated the importance of exports to the development of Ghana as part of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo\u2019s agenda of \u201cGhana Beyond Aid\u201d and pledged the GSA\u2019s commitment to collaborate with other agencies to promote exports.<\/p>\n The visits form part of the GSA\u2019s shipper visitation and outreach programme to reach out to shippers in their areas of operation to listen to their concerns on shipments and business in general.<\/p>\n The outreach programme, over the years, has served as an avenue for the GSA to address shipment-related challenges of shippers across the country.<\/p>\n Managing Director of Dhillon Farms, Madam Rose Asantewaa (middle) in a pose with the GSA team after interactions in her office.
