{"id":4509,"date":"2020-02-13T16:20:21","date_gmt":"2020-02-13T16:20:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost:10003\/?p=4509"},"modified":"2020-02-13T16:20:21","modified_gmt":"2020-02-13T16:20:21","slug":"the-kenya-maritime-authority-calls-on-the-ghana-shippers-authority","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vigorous-feistel.187-124-37-238.plesk.page\/?p=4509","title":{"rendered":"The Kenya Maritime Authority calls on the Ghana Shippers\u2019 Authority"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Ghana Shippers Authority (GSA) on 12<sup>th<\/sup>February, 2020 received a two-man delegation from the Kenya Maritime Authority (KMA) who were on a working visit to Ghana.<\/p>\n<p>The visit occurred on the sidelines of the 4<sup>th<\/sup> Session of the Association of African Maritime Administrations\u2019 (AAMA) Executive Council which took place from the 10<sup>th<\/sup> to 11<sup>th<\/sup> February 2020 in Accra.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4510\" src=\"http:\/\/localhost:10003\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/KMA.png\" alt=\"\">The Director General of the KMA, Major (Rtd) George Nyamoko Okong\u2019o, said it was important to pay a courtesy call on the GSA since the two organisations have been collaborating over the past few years. He said the visit was to afford him a deeper understanding of the mandate of the GSA and also for the two institutions to explore areas of more collaboration for their mutual benefit.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Fred Asiedu Dartey, Head of Freight and Logistics Department who welcomed the delegation on behalf of the GSA noted that some officials of the GSA paid a visit to the KMA in the later part of 2019.
