The Ghana Shippers\u2019 Authority (GSA) has engaged the Committee of Freight Forwarders\u2019 Association (CoFFA) on trade issues in the shipping and logistics industry at an informal meeting in Tema.<\/p>\n

The meeting which came off on 21st October, 2019 discussed challenges shippers face with the implementation of the Cargo Tracking Note (CTN), failure of some shipping service providers to work on weekends even though the port operates 24\/7, double charges for some shipping services among others and the way forward to addressing them.<\/p>\n
The President of the Ghana Institute of Freight Forwarders (GIFF), Mr Kwabena Ofosu-Appiah said CoFFA was formed to bring all freight forwarder associations under one umbrella to represent the interests of their business.<\/p>\n
