According to Mr. Derzu, DHL has remained a reliable cargo exporter for years and has enhanced its operations to help meet the needs of its customers.<\/p>\nThe Manager in charge of DHL in the Northern region, Mr. Donatus Derzu has taken members of the Northern Regional Shipper Committee (NRSC) through its procedures for exporting Non-Traditional Export (NTE).<\/p>\n
NTE from the Northern Region include horticultural products, food and beverages, handicrafts and other manufactured items.<\/p>\n
According to Mr. Derzu, DHL has remained a reliable cargo exporter for years and has enhanced its operations to help meet the needs of its customers.<\/p>\n
He said that DHL is a brand of excellence with a dedicated airline that comes into the country four times a week to pick cargo. They deliver within five (5) work days and have an effective tracking system to monitor the movements of consignments. He added that, DHL has branches and outlets spread across the country where clients can easily deposit their goods for pick up.<\/p>\n
Mr. Derzu further explained that to encourage the development of local industry, DHL has developed an e-Commerce service that charges a lower rate compared to regular shipments. He encouraged members of the committee to take advantage of the e-Commerce service to send their shipments through DHL.<\/p>\n
