{"id":3157,"date":"2019-03-01T10:41:23","date_gmt":"2019-03-01T10:41:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost:10003\/?p=3157"},"modified":"2019-03-01T10:41:23","modified_gmt":"2019-03-01T10:41:23","slug":"sg-union-african-shippers-councils-calls-ghana-shippers-authority","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vigorous-feistel.187-124-37-238.plesk.page\/?p=3157","title":{"rendered":"SG of Union of African Shippers\u2019 Councils calls on Ghana Shippers\u2019 Authority"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Secretary-General of the Union of African Shippers\u2019 Councils (UASC), Mr Ogoula Giscard Lilian has paid a courtesy call on the Ghana Shippers\u2019 Authority (GSA) Thursday 28<sup>th &nbsp;<\/sup>February, 2019 in Accra.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-3158\" src=\"http:\/\/localhost:10003\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/SG6-1024x683.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>(From left to right) Secretary-General of UASC, Mr Ogoula Giscard Lilian and&nbsp;Deputy CEO of GSA, Ms Sylvia Asana Dauda-Owu<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Mr Ogoula is in the country to attend the 23<sup>rd&nbsp;<\/sup>Ghana International Trade Fair where over 500 exhibitors from companies, small and medium scale enterprises and state agencies are participating.<\/p>\n<p>He commended the Authority for supporting the UASC and its activities in providing shipping solutions to the needs of shippers in Ghana.<\/p>\n<p>The UASC Secretary General said his visits to member councils afford him the opportunity to understand their needs and how the Union can position itself to provide them assistance.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-3155\" src=\"http:\/\/localhost:10003\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/SG5-1024x624.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>A group photo with the Management of the GSA<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Deputy CEO of the Authority, Ms Sylvia Asana Dauda-Owu urged Mr Ogoula to continue his good works to lift the image of the Union high.<\/p>\n<p>She said the Authority would continue to contribute to the activities of the Union and push for the interests of shippers.<\/p>\n<p>The UASC is a 19-member body formed in 1977 and is headquartered in Douala, Cameroon.
