{"id":13998,"date":"2022-07-09T09:49:14","date_gmt":"2022-07-09T08:49:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost:10003\/?p=13998"},"modified":"2022-07-09T09:49:14","modified_gmt":"2022-07-09T08:49:14","slug":"zenith-bank-sensitize-shippers-in-central-region-on-ways-to-access-soft-loans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vigorous-feistel.187-124-37-238.plesk.page\/?p=13998","title":{"rendered":"Zenith Bank sensitize Shippers in Central Region on ways to access soft loans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Members of the Central Regional Shipper Committee (CRSC) have been sensitized by Zenith Bank on ways to access soft loans for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the shipping and logistics industry.<br \/>\nThe sensitization workshop which was facilitated by the Ghana Shippers\u2019 Authority (GSA) forms part of efforts to equip importers and exporters with the requisite skills and knowledge to enable them to compete with their counterparts on the continent.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-13769\" src=\"http:\/\/localhost:10003\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/crsc1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"100%\" height=\"100%\" \/><em><strong>Some members of the CRSC during the presentation<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The event which was held on Thursday 30th June 2022 at the Conference Hall of the Oguaa Teachers\u2019 Co-operative Credit Union formed part of the second quarter meeting of the CRSC. Welcoming participants to the Committee meeting, the Branch Manager of the Takoradi Branch Office of the GSA Mrs. Agnes Asamoah-Duku reiterated the Authority\u2019s aim of helping Shippers and other key stakeholders through continuous education and sensitization for the benefit of the shipping and logistics sector.<br \/>\nThe shippers were also sensitized on the Benchmark Policy Review by the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) by a Deputy Trade Facilitation Officer with the Customs Division of the GRA, Mr. Jonathan Debrah.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-13768\" src=\"http:\/\/localhost:10003\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/crsc2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"100%\" height=\"100%\" \/><strong><em>Some members of the CRSC taking notes during the presentation<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The CRSC is one of the ten (10) shipper committees across the country that meets quarterly to discuss relevant issues confronting shippers in the region.
